This port-style starts with aromas of blueberry, raspberry and hints of vanilla.  The palate is smooth with flavors of fresh berries, dried cherries with a long spicy finish.  To make this port in the traditional style we had brandy made from our Pinot Noir Wine at a local craft distillery.  The brandy is added to stop fermentation leaving some residual sweetness in this rich dessert wine.
